What does this Data Matrix reader decode?
Square symbols from 10×10 to 144×144 plus the rectangular ECC 200 sizes (e.g. 8×18, 8×32). The symbol size is reported in the Symbol details panel after every decode.

Does it read GS1 Data Matrix?
Yes. FNC1-first symbols report the ]d2 symbology identifier and a GS1 content type, with a dedicated note explaining that application identifiers delimit the fields.
Why did my Data Matrix fail to read?
Dot-peen and laser marks need a calm quiet zone, even light without glare, and enough resolution: move closer or upload a sharper photo. Rotated, mirrored and inverse-video marks all decode.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Pixels and decoded payloads stay in memory on this device. The page makes no network requests with your data and clears the result after ten idle minutes.
