Why black-on-white only?
The print specification fixes the symbol to dark-on-light, so custom colors stay disabled for MaxiCode while other 2D codes allow gated tints.
Why did my MaxiCode fail to read?
The bullseye must be complete and round in the image — shoot the label flat and keep the hexagonal grid sharp.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Pixels and decoded payloads stay in memory on this device. The page makes no network requests with your data and clears the result after ten idle minutes.
