Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Validation and rendering run entirely in your browser through a self-contained symbol engine — the page makes no network requests with your data and stores nothing. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools or disconnect from the network after the page loads.
Which postal formats can I generate?
USPS Intelligent Mail (IMb: 20/25/29/31 digits for letters and flats), POSTNET 5/9/11 and PLANET 11/13, Royal Mail 4-State customer code and Mailmark 2D (types 7/9/29), PostNL KIX, Deutsche Post Identcode (11 digits) and Leitcode (13 digits), AusPost 4-State, Japan Post customer code (20 digits), DPD Parcel Code 128, UPU S10 and the classic six-digit Korean Postal Authority barcode. IMpb package data is a GS1-128 profile and is handled by the universal reader, not this onecode generator.
Do I type the check digit?
No — for POSTNET, PLANET, Identcode, Leitcode and classic Korean Postal Authority, leave the check digit out: the generator computes and appends it, and tells you plainly if a digit you did type is wrong. DPD and UPU S10 validate their supplied domain check value. Intelligent Mail, KIX, Royal Mail, AusPost and Japan Post carry no separate check input.
How is the generated symbol verified?
After native rendering, the page samples the SVG as pixels and sends it through the matching local reader capability. The preview and downloads stay withheld if the reader cannot recover the submitted payload, including the Korea Post check digit.
How large should I print a postal barcode?
Postal 4-state bars are read by high-speed sorters, so keep them pure black on white with calm quiet zones on both sides. The module-size slider controls resolution and the bar-height slider the bar length in millimeters — the SVG export stays sharp at any size and is the safest choice for print.
